Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Main Quest, our RPG habit tracker mobile application and related services (the "App" or "Services").
1. Agreement to Terms
By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility & Account
- You must be at least 9 years old to use Main Quest.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You agree that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3. Subscriptions & Payments
Paid features are billed through Apple In-App Purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled through your device settings. We do not store payment details.
4. License & App Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
5. User Content & Community Features
You retain ownership of your content (habits, quests, progress data). You grant Main Quest a license to host, display, and process that content to operate the Services. Public features (leaderboards, duels) may display your username, avatar, and progress.
6. Prohibited Conduct
- Use the Services for unlawful, abusive, or deceptive acts.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the App.
- Upload content that is infringing, harmful, or offensive.
- Interfere with the security or operation of the Services.
7. Third-Party Services
The Services may integrate with third-party tools (Apple, Google, X, Supabase, Expo). We are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or harm the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error free. Main Quest is not medical, legal, or financial advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Main Quest will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Main Quest and its team from claims arising out of your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Main Quest is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law rules.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in the App or by email.
